My Family

My family means the world to me! I have seen the importance of having a great family that supports me and I them.  My six kids are awesome, and my wife, Heather, is the greatest thing that has happened to me since salvation. I enjoy dating and spending time with my beautiful best friend. Heather is my better half and makes me look good.  Hanging out with and training our five boys Jack, Josh, Eric, Matthew, and Tyler is something that I cherish.  Also, I also enjoy loving on our newest addition, Abby, who is turning out to be a daddy’s girl.

The Bible has much to say about family.  Kids were important to Jesus, and if I want to be an effective husband and father, I need to follow the example of Jesus in his attention toward and care of them.  To modify my outline from my message yesterday, I must continually ask myself if I am spiritually fit as a father.  I do this by asking whether or not I am selfless and truly spiritual.  Just some thoughts for you fathers as we begin our week!
